2019 has only just begun, and we are already rubbing our hands together at the sequels that are coming out this year! So put on your glasses and grab your popcorn while we take you on a wild preview!
Angry Birds 2

Whoa there! Yeah we thought the first movie was based off a stupid concept, but it worked out really well at the end! The story was cutesy, and the animation was polished. It was a great flick for the children, and we anticipate the second one will be just as fine.
How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World

The first two How to Train Your Dragon installments brought out our love for dragons that followed a bumbling Hiccup and his beloved dragon, Toothless. Now, as an adult, he has to navigate the hostile waters of leadership while rescuing the strained relationship between him and Toothless.
Avengers: Endgame

The long awaited sequel to Avengers: Infinity War that will wrap up the Avenger’s fight with Thanos. Stan Lee will also make a final cameo appearance which was reportedly filmed before his death in November, 2018. We wouldn’t miss this epic showdown for anything!
Star Wars Episode IX

To all Star Wars fans, this is it. The monumental finale between the Jedi and the Sith, and between the First Order and the Resistance forces. Although not much is known about the actual plot itself, we can almost be certain that JJ Abrams will draw an epic conclusion to the saga.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Do you like giant monsters rampaging across cities? Do you like seeing giant monsters flinging mega death rays at each other? If you aren’t introduced to the Godzilla franchise, this is the perfect opportunity to get into the 80-year old irradiated dinosaur in what promises to be an all-out monster brawl flick.
Dark Phoenix

The next installment of the X-Men franchise sees the return of Jean Grey, whose powers have grown stronger but unstable. This film features the debut of X-Men: Apocalypse producer Simon Kinberg in a directing role.
Jumanji 2

Jumanji: Welcome To the Jungle was an exciting adventure packed with action and humor from beginning to end. It’s different from the Robin Williams original, but the charming cast of Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Karen Gillian, and Kevin Hart were all stellar in the 2017 reboot. Did I mention they will all be starring in the sequel?
The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part

The first Lego movie was an entertaining movie for both children and adults alike. The humor was on point, the animation was silky smooth, and the voices were right on the dot. This sequel will follow the events that follow The Lego Movie, and will be released on February 8th, 2019.
Angel Has Fallen

Following the events of Olympus Has Fallen, Secret Service Agent Mike Banning finds himself entangled in another mess involving the President. He now races against the clock with both Secret Service AND the FBI hot on his tails to discover the real culprit and uncover the real threat.
Frozen 2

If you can labor through the obnoxious un-Disney main theme of the first movie, you will find that Frozen still follows that Disney formula that has enchanted kids throughout the ages. We don’t know the plot to this sequel yet, but one thing that is guaranteed is that there will be singing. Lots of singing.
